Seasonal Festivals

These community festivals, hosted by MFWC, vary from back-to-school book bag drives to movie nights, other organizations get involved and provide additional resources. Community members come out and have a fun time while obtaining useful items like clothes and non perishable foods.

South Georgia Farmworker Health Project

An annual week long summer event hosted by MFWC in partnership with Emory and Mercer. Patients can receive free consults from medical students, along with medicine, clothes, and other medical services. This event is held in a variety of locations including the clinic, farmworker camps, and other community locations.

Vaccination Event

A special event to provide farmworkers with COVID-19 vaccines. This event was held in October 2021, in partnership with Emory and Mercer, farmworkers were able to receive free vaccines to support community health.
